There are set to be closures on two roads in Alnwick for work to take place during the summer.
In July, Narrowgate is set to be closed to allow Utilitec Services Ltd, on behalf of Northumbrian Water Ltd, to install a sewer levels monitor in an existing manhole.
The order is valid from Monday, July 3, to Wednesday, July 19, but the road is only expected to be closed from Monday, July 3, to Thursday, July 6, between 6pm and 11pm.
A diversion will be in place via Dispensary Street/Lagny Street and Bailiffgate.
From Monday, July 31, to Friday, August 4, between 7.30am and 5.30pm, Weavers Way will be closed for carriageway resurfacing.
The road will be closed and there is no diversion route, but access will be maintained for residents, businesses, pedestrians and cyclists as well as for the emergency services.
