Classics on the set for band's first live gig

A night of rock music is being held at an Alnwick pub next week.

GoldieRocks will be playing classics from the ‘golden era’ of rock music at the Queen’s Head on Friday, March 4.

The event runs from 8.30pm with songs from AC/DC, Guns n Roses, Bryan Adams, U2 and many other famous bands.

The event has been organised by Beth Harding and Beth Pounder as part of their university course in event organisation.

Beth Harding is also lead singer in GoldieRocks and it will be the band’s first live performance.

Admission to the event is free.

The band will be on stage from 9pm onwards.
