Classic car fans help to make show a success

A classic car show has been hailed a huge success for the second year in a row.

The Belford event, which took place at the end of April saw tremendous turnout with a wide variety of vehicles coming from near and far.

There were three competition categories this year with the winning vehicles being chosen by Mike Briant, of the Northumbria Blood Bikes.

Best Classic Example was Malcom Stawart (The Morpeth Milkman) with his Bedford CA.

Best Original Classic was awarded to Judith Rachel McClaren with her Volvo P1800

And Best Overall was given to Steve Handley with his Mark 1 Ford Capri 3000E.

The event was being held in aid of Northumbria Blood Bikes and the Great North Air Ambulance with in excess of £600 being raised for the two vital causes.
