The market has been running since 2008 and offers a range of quality crafts, gifts and local foodstuffs.

With more than 50 stalls, this year new attractions include Cheviot Brewery and Iron Beasties, both of which operate from Ford & Etal Estates, and Meg’s Plaice, selling fresh fish from Eyemouth.

Adding to the offer, the village shops are also open, and local artist Mark Irving will be in the Tearoom Gallery at Ford Shop.

Santa will arrive at noon with his two donkeys and children can visit him in his grotto throughout the afternoon. Refreshments will be available from the tearooms alongside a mouth-watering variety of street food including hog roast, wood-fired pizza, crispy conewich and fish and chips.

The organisers would like to thank all who support this event and in particular the sponsors, Olympus Marquees and EDF Energy. A special thank-you goes to Tillside Cricket Club for providing car parking marshalls and Ford Hugh Joicey C.E Aided First School PTFA for booking and bringing Santa.
