CHRISTMAS: All welcome to join festivities

On behalf of the Glendale Community Christmas Team, I want to thank everyone who worked so hard to make the pop-up shop in Wooler such a success.

The quality and quantity of bric-a-brac, books, clothes and homemade jam and chutney was superb, and we had so many customers who were very generous in buying goods and raffle tickets, so contributing towards this year’s Christmas Day event – our second.

If you or someone you know might like to come along, then whatever the reason and whatever the age and household, everyone is welcome at the Glendale Community Christmas Day.

This year there’ll be tea and coffee to welcome everyone at around 11am, then a little entertainment, followed by Christmas lunch with all the trimmings (vegetarians and vegans can also be accommodated).

Most Popular

We’ll watch the Queen’s broadcast on TV, then everyone can make their way home. Transport if needed.
