Rock Festival Choir will be joining Blake when they perform at Alnwick Playhouse on Saturday, June 4.

And it is the second year in a row that the two have joined forces for a concert.

The Rock choir will be singing some all-time favourite music, with Blake including Nessun Dorma and songs from stage and screen, such as You’ll Never Walk Alone, as well as performing Over The Rainbow to open the second half of the show.

Blake’s harmonious sound and musicality enables them to perform a wide-ranging repertoire, from opera to popular songs.

Peter Brown, choral director of Rock Festival Choir said: “Rock Festival Choir are delighted to have the opportunity to support Blake, a Brit award winning group who tour the world and have made many TV and radio appearances, including Songs of Praise and Strictly Come Dancing. We are really looking forward to this very special concert.”

The Rock Festival Choir was formed in 2003 to celebrate the restoration of the organ in the ancient church of St Phillip and St James, in the village of Rock.

Tickets for the Blake concert cost £21.50 premier, £20.40 standard, £29.50 concession, available from
