A cheque of £5,700 was presented to HospiceCare North Northumberland.

The cash was raised at last month’s Red Lion Beer Festival, in Alnmouth, which was sponsored by Jobling Purser and attracted record numbers.

The previous year’s event raised £5,000 for the same cause and the 2017 festival will also raise cash for the hospice.
