The latest book by a north Northumberland author, who only started to try to get her work published in her 40s, is released today.
My Summer of Magic Moments is the fourth novel by Chatton writer Caroline Roberts, following The Cosy Christmas Teashop, The Cosy Teashop in the Castle and The Torn Up Marriage.
Caroline said: “My Summer of Magic Moments is contemporary fiction and an ideal summer read set on stunning Bamburgh beach about a lady who has just got over breast cancer.
“It is about love, life, loss, family, friends, scars, healing and appreciating those magic moments in life that everyone can experience. It is a heartwarming read with a very poignant love story at its centre.
“Northumberland is such a beautiful place and inspires my writing and Bamburgh is one of my favourite places to walk my spaniel, Meg.”
The book will be available in Sainsbury’s and Asda stores across the UK, on Amazon both in e-book and paperback form, at Waterstones stores across the North East as well as other e-book outlets.
Caroline added: “From dreaming of being a published author many years ago and working hard towards it, life has changed so much in these past two years.
“With my fourth novel about to be published and another contracted with HarperCollins for November 2017 – The Cosy Christmas Chocolate Shop, set in a fictional Northumberland harbour village inspired by Craster and the wonderful Cabosse chocolate shop/café in Warkworth – my dreams really have come true.”
