The changing street scene
These pictures show how Alnwick has and hasn't changed over the years.
The top photo depicts The Old Post Office, most recently used for Alnwick Town Council and Alnwick District Council, which has recently been the subject of a planning application to create a restaurant and flats.
The bottom picture is more recent and shows Pottergate prior to the flats that currently exist with a garage on the corner.
