The Funding Fair will be held at Seahouses Hub on Wednesday, November 30, with booked appointments from 1pm until 4.30pm.

Marc Johnson, funding officer at Northumberland CVA, said: “The funders attending our latest funding fair give out grants from a few hundred pounds up to several million, but we’re really keen that small local organisations benefit from this event.

“So, if you are a local community organisation that has a project, service or activity that needs funding, then this is the event for you.”

Big Lottery Fund, Heritage Lottery Fund, BBC Children in Need and Greggs Foundation are among the funders that will be available to talk directly to groups about applying for funding and how to have the best chance of submitting a successful application.

Anne Lyall, chief executive officer at Northumberland CVA, said: “Our Funding Fairs are one of the ways we support community groups across Northumberland, providing an ideal opportunity for groups to speak directly with funders, get advice from them and meet our experienced team who will be able to provide further support.”

In addition to funders, the Northumberland VCS Support Services team will be available to advise groups on developing their projects, volunteering and other sources of funding.

To book your place at the fair, contact Northumberland CVA on 01670 858688 or email enquire@northumberland cva.org.uk
