In an event at Hadston House, locals attended for cake, tea and coffee while sharing their experiences of the NHS and what it was like prior to its creation.
The Hadston House Youth Club made cards, banners, posters and bunting which decorated the room, while a raffle and tombola helped raise £194 for Little Miracles.
Coun Scott Dickinson, who helped organise the event, said: “The party showed how important the NHS is to people.”
