Castle restaurant is holding special monthly functions

A restaurant at an iconic visitor attraction is opening its doors one evening a month for special dining events.

The Sanctuary at The Castle, which is based at Alnwick Castle, began the functions earlier this year and it is proving to be a popular initiative.

The next event is this Saturday, when diners will be able to enjoy a spring tasting menu. This will be paired with a spring garden talk by Gazette columnist Tom Pattinson. Guests should arrive at 7pm for 7.30pm dining and entry is via the Iron Railings, Castle Square. The event is £45 per person.

Next month’s event takes place on Saturday, May 7, and will feature a talk on the history of the Percy family.
