Call for full tree survey at Wooler site due to safety concerns
Parish councillors have called for a tree survey to be carried out on a banked area of Wooler due to safety concerns.
Further quotations for the work at The Tory on Church Street are to be obtained before the way forward is agreed.
Coun Angus Murray said that if the trees have to be felled, the introduction of rhododendrons would help to stabilise the banking and add colour.
The Tory is named after a medieval tower.
