THE British Wool Marketing Board has joined forces with the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs to launch a photographic competition to represent the origin of wool.
The winning entry will be displayed at an exhibition – Wool Modern – to be held in central London in September as part of the Campaign for Wool’s 2011 Wool Week.
“We feel this is a great opportunity for Young Farmers to show their own part of the wool story,” said Gareth Jones, producer relations manager at the British Wool Marketing Board
The competition closing date is Sunday, August 7.
The overall winner will be invited to attend the opening of the wool exhibition with four club members.
