A north Northumberland man has been appointed an associate director of a leading firm of chartered surveyors.

Andrew Jamieson, 34, is one of four promoted to the positions at H&H Land and Property.

Andrew, who was brought up near Alnwick, has nearly 20 years’ experience in the agricultural industry and in 2011 was elected a member of the British Institute of Agricultural Consultants.

Graduating from Harper Adams University College in 2004 with a BSc Hons in agriculture land and farm management, he subsequently completed a post graduate diploma in rural surveying from the University of Reading.

Specialising in farm business management, farm budgeting, management accounts, farm business advice, basic payment scheme and grant applications, he has a practical approach to farm management, having worked on a farms for 12 years before moving into farm business advice.
