Two North East firms have got together to showcase some unique furniture.
Dickinsons, which has a showroom in Alnwick, has teamed up with Blyth-based Sitting Pretty.
Tace Traviss, commercial director of Dickinsons, said: “We continuously try to support UK furnishings manufacturers and finding a supplier who produced not only quality, eclectic bespoke furniture, but is both family-run and located right on our doorstep, was truly exciting. As a team, we can undertake bespoke commissions with both fabrics and paint finishes to allow these products to be tailored to a customer’s individual scheme.”
The husband and wife team of Brian Main and Dawn Wilkinson behind Sitting Pretty have spent 15 years honing their re-upholstery and interior-design skills.
“We restore, hand-paint and re-upholster vintage chairs in a range of quirky fabrics to produce our statement chairs for a growing client base of individuals looking for something a little less ordinary for their interiors,” said Dawn.
