THE Northumberland Committee of The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution held a fund-raising winter fair.
The fair, held in the village hall in Corbridge, featured more than 15 stalls and a raffle.
More than £1,000 was raised and will be used for the caring of farmers and farmworkers, in the way of disability aids, food hampers and help with utility bills.
Organised by Katy Carr and Jill Oakley, the event was well attended.
Incoming chairman Stoker Frater thanked members and the public for their support.
