A SEAHOUSES woman has joined the ranks of a Northumberland care home’s management team.
Eastgate Manor, owned by Executive Care Group, in Mickley Square, Prudhoe has expanded to include Donna Davidson as a deputy manager.
Donna will act as clinical lead for the newly-opened luxury care home and, with a long career in nursing under her belt, will take responsibility for ensuring that residents’ nursing needs are met and that standards remain high.
“Having recently returned to nursing after taking a short break to focus on medical sales and at a later date, sports nutrition, I am delighted to be in this managerial role,” she said.
“Central to my role will be to support and train our professional carers to ensure that they make best use of the outstanding facilities here at Eastgate Manor, particularly in our specialist memory care suite, which is dedicated to assisting residents with dementia.”
“As well as being a huge career opportunity for me, this post is incredibly rewarding. Most important is the company-wide acknowledgement that pivotal to caring for the elderly population is to spend time with residents and it is fantastic to be in a position to encourage staff to forge great relationships with the residents.”
