A north Northumberland maintenance and development company is throwing open its front door and inviting people to step inside its latest project to celebrate the firm’s 10th anniversary.
Builder Darren Shell, 43, director of Maxbox Developments Ltd, and his business partner Steve Lamb, 49, are showcasing newly-built Tern House at North Sunderland.
They are so confident of their customer service, attention to detail, craftsmanship and finishing touches delivered with every job completion, they want people to see it for themselves.
Darren said: “We are very passionate about our work and we take great pride in what we do. I just enjoy my job and we value and respect every customer, no matter how big or small the job is. We have had some great projects to work on but I really love gutting a place and starting again. I love my job and I have a great team working with me. They are my friends as well as my family. It’s great.’
Tern House, near Seahouses, is a three-bedroomed, two-storey, detached stone-and-slate family home in a peaceful location. Darren has designed it to take advantage of the splendid views. Unusually, the kitchen and sitting areas are on the first floor, which looks across to the sea.
Darren said: “It would make a perfect family home or an ideal second home as a cosy coastal retreat. I would like people to meet us and to know that if you need a plumber, a decorator or an electrician or any aspect of building work nothing is a problem. We treat every job like we are doing it in our own home and if something doesn’t need doing we don’t want you to be spending a penny more than you need to. We offer a reliable, professional and friendly service and we are extremely proud of our work.”
Tern House, in St Cuthbert’s Close, will open on Saturday and Sunday, April 18 and 19, from 10am to 3pm. Contact Darren on 07970126723 or visit www.maxboxdevelopments.co.uk
