Having supported the annual Northumberland Business Awards for several years, Northumberland College is once again showing its support by this year proudly sponsoring the Apprentice Trainee of the Year Award.
Northumberland College works with more than 700 businesses across the North East, including small businesses and large enterprises from industry sectors as diverse as construction to craft food manufacturing.
The college, which is ranked within the top ten per cent in England, offers high-quality training that includes one of the largest ranges of apprenticeships in the region, with more than 40 subject frameworks.
Its dedicated Business Training Solutions team delivers tailored training solutions to meet employer needs.
Services to businesses include free recruitment and candidate matching, as well as pre-employment training that ensures new recruits share company values and higher education courses that aid continuous professional development.
A college spokesperson said: “The Apprentice Trainee Award recognises those who have shown dedication to the apprenticeship scheme through their mentorship, so we encourage employers to enter the awards and celebrate their staff commitment.”
There is still time to make a nomination for this year’s awards. The event on Thursday, November 20, at Linden Hall, with a black-tie dress code, will feature a gala dinner recognising and celebrating business excellence within Northumberland.
