A north Northumberland-based firm has appointed a new sales manager.
Equine bedding manufacturer BEDMAX has promoted Tim Edmonds from area sales manager south to the position.
Tim will be responsible for a team of three area sales managers and will work with them to promote the sales of the company’s three products, BEDMAX, LITTLEMAX and HOTMAX in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
He said: “I am delighted to accept this promotion and challenging position within the company.
“Working together with my sales team, my main objective is to ensure the continued growth of the company and to further cement BEDMAX’s position as the leading horse-bedding manufacturer in the UK.”
Tim has an equestrian background. He competed at the prestigious Olympia International Horse Show in the final of the Young Showjumper of the Year on two occasions and ran his own yard with his mother, breeding and selling horses, schooling and teaching lesssons.
BEDMAX, which began 15 years ago, was the first company in the UK to produce dust-free, tailor-made shavings for horses. It has held a Royal Warrant from the Queen since 2008.
