Burgers and beers on a balmy afternoon

There were burgers and beers on a balmy English summer afternoon and the refreshments were accompanied by live music from Grey Catz and Ritchie Newbigin.

Organiser Jimmy Johnson said: “It’s lovely to see the community participating in an event like this.”

Half of the proceeds from the event are to be donated to HospiceCare North Northumberland, which provides care and support to adults with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, as well as their carers and families.
