Bring books to life at your school

Storytellers from Seven Stories bring the magic of books to life for pupils.
Storytellers from Seven Stories bring the magic of books to life for pupils.

Young doodlers are urged to get scribbling and win a top prize for their school to celebrate the 20th anniversary of World Book Day.

In partnership with Seven Stories – the National Centre for Children’s Books, teaching supply agency First Class Supply is giving schools the chance to win a special visit from the team of professional storytellers.

The competition is inspired by the Seven Stories Oodles of Doodles exhibition, which features drawings by some of the UK’s best-known illustrators.

Youngsters are invited to create their own artwork inspired by the magic of books – the theme is Do Something Booky.

The winning entry will bag their school a visit from the Seven Stories Travelling Book Show on Thursday, March 2, with performances from talented storytellers for up to 90 children per session. Visit www.firstclasssupply.co.uk for more information.
