Bowled over with grant

Lesbury Bowls Club has succeeded in gaining funds through Northumberland County Council Community Chest to purchase a new Overseeder, which will further enhance one of the county's best kept bowling greens.

The club is now preparing for the season with an Open Day planned for Saturday, April 16.

It is hoped there will be an increase in membership.
