Bikers set to roar into town this Saturday

The distinctive roar of motorbikes will be heard in Alnwick this weekend as the Geordie Chapter of Harley-Davidson bikers will descend on the town.

The riders always prove popular when they are in Alnwick and they will return this Saturday.

The plan is to ride through Alnwick and then stop at The Alnwick Garden.

They will head into the town via the Shepherds Rest and then through the Bondgate Tower – a truly stunning spectacle.

A Geordie Chapter spokesman said: “It’s always a pleasure to ride through Northumberland.

“Alnwick is one of our highlights and we regularly visit the Market Place and local cafes. The hospitality is second to none.

“We’ll be heading through Alnwick with around 250 Geordie Chapter Bikers between noon and 12.30pm, before having a pit stop at The Alnwick Garden.”
