BENEFIT: Save Druridge event success

We would particularly like to thank all the superb performers and volunteers who gave of their time and talent, and, of course, all those who came along on the night.

A raffle and silent auction also raised money from generous prises donated from across the community.

It was a hugely successful evening and all the proceeds will go towards supporting the Save Druridge group in its representation at the Highthorn mine planning inquiry.

We are pleased to learn that Friends of the Earth, the Northumberland Wildlife Trust and RSPB, among others, will also be represented at the inquiry in May 2017 and look forward to a successful outcome, protecting our beautiful Druridge Bay for generations to come.
