Belford land transfer ensures protection of village war memorial
A land transfer which will help ensure the protection of Belford war memorial has been completed.
The legal process of the transfer of a two-metre strip of land between the pavement and the former Belford Community Club, from the Belford Village Hall Trustees to Belford Parish Council, has been completed.
The club closed in 2016.
Coun Kerry Noble hoped the memorial may be able to get grant funding or a donation from Belford Community Group and the Co-op.
