The third edition of a popular fund-raising event in a north Northumberland village returns later this month.

The Northumberland Beer Festival, organised by Coquetdale Round Table, will take place at the Memorial Hall in Longframlington on Friday and Saturday, June 19 and 20.

All proceeds of the festival, which last year raised £1,500 for HospiceCare North Northumberland, will go to the Great North Air Ambulance.

Everyone is welcome and Saturday afternoon will once again be family-friendly with activities for kids. The organisers hope to have some live music on in the evening and food will be available.

If you don’t like beer, there are plenty of other reasons to attend – award-winning cider, wine, Pimms and free soft drinks for drivers and children.

Entry is £5 (children free) to include a half-pint glass and two tokens. Drinks are £1.25 per half-pint with 14 different beers and four ciders on offer. The event runs from 6pm to 11pm on the Friday and noon to 11pm on the Saturday.
