Band from Canada was in town

Thanks to a reader we now have more information about this picture, published last week, of a parade before Alnwick International Music Festival. Terry Biddlecombe said it was the Whalley Legion Band, from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. They performed at Alnwick in 1974 and 1977 and 1980 and 1983.
