Bamburgh beach '“ or is it the Bahamas?
Northumberland's magnificent coast once again takes the honours in our weekly photographic competition.
And it is the beach at Bamburgh which is proving a huge draw for photographers.
Who needs the Bahamas when we’ve got our own piece of paradise? Ellen Jackson had the stunning beach between Seahouses and Bamburgh all to herself and her picture was top of the shots, with 250 likes.
Every day at facebook.com/nlandgazette, we share your images of the county under the banner, View of Northumberland. Then each week in the Gazette, we feature the four which received the most likes the previous week.
In second place, with 200 likes, was the Shambles in Alnwick, given George Taylor’s ‘hint of colour’ treatment.
An iconic red phone box in this Bamburgh caught the eye Emma Jones and her image attracted 170 likes for third.
Fourth place went to a picture of a spectacular sunset seen at Bamburgh beach by Jackie Hinson Fordy, which had 156 likes.
