The caravan owners of Kaims Park, near Bamburgh, raised £640 at a 1960s-themed charity evening.

It was presented to the North Northumberland Fundraising Group of Bloodwise (formerly Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research) and will be used at the Northern Institute for Cancer Research in Newcastle, to help find a cure for blood cancers.

Helen Tait, of Bloodwise, said: “This is an extremely large donation for us and we are very grateful to the caravan owners at Kaims.”
