“We’ve only just started on our journey and this recognition has given us an extra boost to continue developing our website and printed #ThisIsMe magazine, national events, reward and recognition initiatives and most importantly, to keep authentically celebrating the awesome work of inspiring people and inclusive organisations and brands all over the UK.”

He added : “My family has a long history in Alnwick and I spent my life growing up in Clayport Gardens. I started my career in the town as an Apprentice at Marishal Thompson & Co (now called Innovation Environmental) and have a lot to thank them for.

“Massive thanks to those who gave me the opportunities early on in my career that gave me the confidence and drive to develop myself and launch Inclusive Networks. If I can do it, anyone can.”

The winners of the awards will be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday, May 13, at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
