AWARD: Praise for being the best
The Cookie Jar is to be congratulated for being named best hotel in the north. They must be getting something right.
However, although not a catholic, I feel that the Sisters, some of whom I knew, would be saddened as well as stunned to see what has happened to their old home, especially the beautiful chapel, of which they were so proud.
I must add – the name Cookie Jar, still makes me cringe.
