Arrests made after man glassed in face at Northumberland pub

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 42-year-old man was assaulted at a pub in Northumberland.

The incident happened around 11.50pm yesterday in the Anglers Arms, Kielder. The man suffered lacerations on his face, caused by being hit with a glass.

Two men, aged 19 and 26, have been arrested on suspicion of assault.

Inquiries are ongoing into the incident and police are appealing for anyone who was in the Anglers Arms last night and saw what happened to get in contact.
