Arch - The Northumberland Development Company is behind the scheme for 51 rentable homes, comprising a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom terraced houses, flats and bungalows.
It is part of Arch’s on-going strategy for Amble and it is working with third parties to deliver a mix of uses on the trading estate to include a veterinary practice, retail units and a manufacturing facility.
When complete, the site is expected to bring around 70 new jobs to the town, on top of construction jobs that will be created during the building phase.
The houses would have rear gardens and there would be 80 car parking places and associated landscaping.
They are planned to be low-energy homes that use pre-fabrication construction methods developed in Sweden over the last 50 years.
The plans will go on display on Monday, from 2pm to 7pm, at Amble Development Trust, Fourways Two, Dilston Terrace.
Arch has recently received planning consent to construct a 30-bedroom hotel and restaurant on the park. This investment of £4million is expected to create 60 jobs during the construction phase and the equivalent of 35 full-time jobs in the town once the hotel opens.
Arch is also actively assessing options for increasing the number of car parking spaces in the town to complement this growth and increased tourism potential.

Following the public consultation, Arch will seek to submit a planning application in March. Subject to approval, it is anticipated that works will start in September.
