Application for nine new homes submitted
An outline bid for up to nine homes in Swarland has been submitted to the county council.
It is proposed to develop the site, at Low Wood, south of Mereburn House, for nine properties, each with its own garden/amenity areas and parking.
According to a planning statement, the ‘intention is to create a spacious layout providing for detached properties thereby bringing choice to the housing market of Swarland and the surrounding area’.
Additionally, ‘an access road will be provided to serve all of the properties and will be to an adoptable standard’.
It concludes that ‘the provision of new-build market housing will provide housing solutions for people wishing to live work and invest in the area’.
