An Amble woman is trying to trace two people who helped her elderly mother after she fell in the town.
The incident happened on Tuesday, September 1, between 9.30am and 10.30am.
Andrea Hewitson’s mum, who turns 75 on Sunday and lives in Philip Drive, can’t remember where she fell, but believes it was in or around George Street. She suffered a cut lip, grazed her nose and broke her glasses.
Andrea said: “I really want to find the couple who helped my mother. They helped her to Amble Health Centre where she was seen by a doctor and had treatment for facial injuries. Thanks to the staff there too.
“We are grateful for this act of kindness and really want to thank the couple. Please could anyone who has information regarding this, get in touch.”
