Annual show promises you will laugh until your belly hurts

Panto season continues in North Northumberland next week when Wooler hosts its annual performance.

Celebrating its 10th show, Wooler Community Panto Group will be cheering up the winter gloom with its staging of Aladdin.

Featuring the traditional principle boy and dame, the group promises you will laugh until your belly hurts.

Aladdin, a personable young man, lives with his launderette-owning mother Widow Twanky and longs to fall in love.

A chance meeting with the disguised Princess Jasmine leads to lots of trouble and adventure. Will he ever find his heart’s desire?

The pantomime comes alive on Friday, February 24, and Saturday, February 25, at 7pm each evening, with a 2pm matinee on Saturday at Glendale Middle School.

Tickets, £5, £3 concs, from Brand’s Newsagents, Mike Hope of Wooler Garage, Farm to Freeze in South Road and The Wool Shop, High Street.
