Christmas angels are appearing in Wooler. Well, wooden ones at least.
Christian community group, Crossing Places, is hand painting and giving away 100 angels in the run-up to Christmas.
Community minister Rev Bill Eugster said: “They’re a fun way of reminding people of the meaning of Christmas and the real story behind it.”
But you’ll have to find them first – they’ll be in unexpected places, waiting to be taken home and put on your Christmas tree.
On every angel, there’s a link to the Crossing Places website which offers a free Christmas booklet.
