The Andy May Trio will perform with folk singer Rosie Hood

High-energy instrumental folk group The Andy May Trio will tour in the North East alongside acclaimed folk singer Rosie Hood.

Rosie, who hails from Wiltshire, and the Andy May Trio, made up of Northumberland piper Andy May, guitarist Ian Stephenson and fiddler Sophy Ball, joined together earlier this year away from the North East.

They were performing side by side in Settle’s Victoria Hall, The Greystones in Sheffield, and finally at Cecil Sharp House – the London headquarters of the English Folk Dance and Song Society.

And they will perform in Embleton, at the Creighton Hall, on Tuesday, October 30, at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £8, accompanied children under 12 go free. Pay on the door.
