An amended scheme for changes at Lemmington Hall, near Edlingham, go before members of the county council’s North Northumberland Local Area Council for a decision this afternoon.
Following amendments to the original bid, planning permission is now sought for the demolition of a 1960s extension, construction of a replacement extension and construction of three new holiday let/staff accommodation units.
Changes to the summerhouse, use of the quarry for deliveries and the change of use to a wedding venue no longer form part of the application.
Edlingham Parish Council has objected, alongside 30 objection letters, primarily on road-safety grounds. Ten letters of support have also been submitted.
