The Christmas tree in Alnwick's Market Place - a victim of Storm Desmond - is back up thanks to the efforts of the town's festive lights team.
The trunk was broken and the tree came down in the high winds on Friday night, but the volunteers from the Alnwick Christmas Lights Committee put it back up last night.
Committee chairman Gordon Castle said: "The team got the Christmas tree up again last night, hopefully for the duration.
"We've got some spare lights to put round and it's a couple of feet shorter, but it's up.
"The team is first-rate and spent three hours from 5.30pm last night doing repairs, Graham Luke even travelling to Newcastle to pick up the hoist that afternoon."
