Alnwick Rugby Club win North One East title
Alnwick Rugby Club have clinched the North One East league title, beating county rivals Morpeth 34-10 this afternoon.
The blue and golds only needed a point to wrap up the championship and they completed their season in style with a victory.
The game was watched by a bumper crowd of around 1,000, helped by those enjoying the sun at the Morpeth Beer Festival.
Alnwick’s nearest rivals Driffield beat Bradford and Bingley 33-14.
