Alnwick Markets is recruiting an officer

The organisation is also looking for people – aged 16 or over – who may be interested in sessional work at some of its feature weekend events and summer markets.

The person who would be suitable for the marketing and promotions officer role is described as being self-motivated and well-organised. Duties would include promotion planning; planning and delivering marketing initiatives; Sunday markets and pop-up gallery; and using social media.

The role would be a part-time, home-based contract.

Regular weekly markets are on a Thursday and Saturday; a farmers’ market takes place once a month; there are Sunday craft markets; and seasonal weekend events including the Alnwick Food Festival each September.
