Alnwick B&B recognised as one of the North East's best
An Alnwick bed and breakfast has been named as one of the best places to stay in the North East, based on it offering the best-value accommodation.
Hotel search website trivago.co.uk has released the results of their annual trivago Awards, using more than 175million aggregated hotel reviews and semantic analysis to determine the best-rated hotels in regions across the UK.
This year, the best hotels have been awarded across eight different categories – three-star, four-star, five-star, B&Bs, value for money, breakfast, guest service and guest rooms.
And in the North East, the value for money prize went to Redfoot Lea, a B&B based at Greensfield Moor Farm in part of a converted farm steading dating back to the 1850s.
Johannes Thomas, managing director at trivago, said: “Our trivago awards recognise those hoteliers who deliver an exceptional experience to their guests and we are proud and delighted to award those achievements.”
