Three more points are in the bag as Alnmouth cruised past a rather ordinary Swalwell side, although it was late on before the score-line began to reflect the dominance they enjoyed.

A single goal was all that separated the sides at the break courtesy of a Judd Donohoe penalty, tucked away in the bottom corner after Peter Murray was scythed down in the area.

Matt Robson doubled the advantage ten minutes after the turnaround finding the top corner from 16 yards following a neat ‘one-two’ with Brett Rogerson.

The third eventually arrived ten minutes from time through Andy Murray who connected with a deep Joe Monaghan cross from the right to control and blast an angled drive past ‘keeper Lee Smith.

Peter Murray completed the scoring a couple of minutes later as he advanced into the box, his ten yard strike finding the net despite Smith’s best attempts.

The victory leaves Alnmouth fifth in the table on 28 points, seven behind second, with two games in hand.
