Air Commodore visits RAF Boulmer
Air Commodore John '˜JW' Wariner visited RAF Boulmer to get a deeper understanding of its role and vital contribution to UK and NATO Air Defence.
He toured the control and reporting centre, which monitors everything flying within UK and NATO airspace, and the Engineering Flight, where cyberspace specialists maintain the UK air surveillance and control system, and later took questions from personnel and highlighted the upcoming challenges.
