The conference is open to older people and professionals who work with them and is organised by Northumberland County Council, Northumbria Healthcare and Northumberland Age UK. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

Coun Susan Dungworth, cabinet member for adult care and public health at Northumberland County Council, said: “I would encourage all older residents and health professionals based in Northumberland who work with the elderly to attend this conference. “This is a unique opportunity for people with a diverse range of experience and skills in this area to come together and share best practice and learn about new developments in the field.”
