AA accolade for Magna Tandoori

It secures a listing in the AA Restaurant Guide for the Magna Tandoori on Bridge Street.

Restaurants are inspected for inclusion on theAA.com on a recommendation basis. They can not be applied for.

The unannounced visit is a snapshot, whereby the entire meal, including ancillary items (when served), is assessed by the AA’s team of restaurant inspectors.

About 10 per cent of restaurants nationwide are of a standard that is worthy of one Rosette and above. Over the years, the Khan family have won many awards for their authentic Indian cuisine. All food is prepared in traditional style, cooked in a charcoal Tandoori clay oven.

Jahangir Khan, pictured, manages the business along with his brothers Alamgir and Oliul. “We’re very pleased to have won the award again,” they said.
