A697 closed at Powburn after lorry overturns
A stretch of the A697 in Northumberland is currently shut in both directions after a lorry overturned earlier this morning and blocked the road.
The incident happened at 7.10am, a quarter-mile south of Powburn.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said that the road is shut between Powburn and Glanton and local diversions are in place.
